Ava August

Ava August, then 14, performed in front of an SOLD-OUT crowd in the 30,000 attendees on the stage at Staples Center before the Los Angeles Kings hockey game. Ava August had been booked for both the Los Angeles Galaxy as well as Los Angeles Dodgers, two professional teams in baseball and soccer. The COVID-19 law forced the teams to cancel their performances. Ava August was the youngest performer on American Idol's 19th season in the age group of 15. Ava August received the GOLDEN Tickets in the Audition Round. She then advanced to the Genre, Duet, Showstopper and the Celebrity/Solo The Top 15 and Top 20 Rounds. Ava got into America's TOP 10 for the year. Ava August sang two originals on American Idol - Neighbor Boy and Ghost of You. Ava August performed an incredible duet performance with famous international star Josh Groban. Ava was the first to release her critically acclaimed song Daybreak when she was fifteen. It was accompanied with her debut music video that was animated. Daybreak was played during The Tropical Surf Hour on KX FM 93.5FM the morning of 11/01/20.
